Taurus Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon Circle

Join us in the Yoga Yurt on Thursday, October 26th from 6pm-9pm to prepare the body, heart, mind and spirit for the upcoming Taurus Lunar Eclipse which is happening at 5 degrees Taurus (on 10/28).

This is the last eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio axis, a final culmination of something we have been working through since 2021. How have you grown? This is a big closure point and an ending to the lessons and journey of this Eclipse cycle. It will also give the end of the month a strong theme of closure and endings. 

I like to think of Eclipses as portals to a higher state of consciousness. They tend to push us forward on our path and get us where we need to be (sometimes before we can even realize that is where we need to be!) Eclipses often bring fated events, moving us closer to our higher path. They are powerful moments in the year where we are guided and placed where we need to be. While this can help us to navigate through the Eclipse energies, they can often be painful and challenging too.

What is meant for us is as clear as what is not intended for us. Eclipses are understood to be when the voice of guidance—whether you consider that to be soul, higher self, intuition, the divine, or destiny—seems to get louder, clearer, and felt more deeply in our bodies than ever before. They are when that voice meets us from within, speaking through our emotions and ideas and knowing, aligns with changes that are thrust upon us and that we seem to have no say in.

Change seems to be the essence of eclipse season, as does some kind of larger purpose. They bring the kind of cracking open that, when we look back on it, seems to be the very doorway into everything good and real in life for years to come. We may not always perceive or understand the purpose within the change at the moment, there is an element of surrender being asked of us throughout this season, a trust that something is being planted in that very moment, regardless of whether we know what that will become or not.

There are also 6 planets in fixed signs, providing a backdrop of great determination and digging in our heels around belief systems. It is important to have done the shadow work and have stabilized emotional energy, deep dive to rise up! Taurus wants to take us back to simple - feet on the earth, grow your own food, get in touch with nature, keep it simple. While there will be a deep urge for stillness, there is also a sense of energetic expansion. We will welcome in an expanded aspect of the consciousness of LOVE and oneness. 

We are in potent times on planet earth. Community support, love and togetherness is very necessary right now. Lets gather and generate love, peace, oneness and harmony for all life on earth!
