Celebrate Spring with a Tea Ceremony, Shamanic Sound Journey & Kundalini Yoga

Join Liv Toepfer, Kat Malone and Shannon Healy for this special experience to celebrate the Spring Equinox!

We will bring together tea ceremony and sound journeying alongside a powerful Kundalini Practice. 

Holding sacred space together through intention, breath, and meditation will allow us to deepen into the present moment and into our bodies and cultivate heart coherence and attune our body, mind, heart and energy field to be i n harmony with the new season. 

As each bowl of tea gently guides us towards softening into our hearts, slowing our rhythms, and opening to our inner realms, we will then experience sounds and vibrations that take us on a spiritual journey through sound healing to re-attune ourselves and our intentions towards self-love and love for community.

Sacred Tea Ceremony (Gong Fu Cha): Tea Ceremony is a sacred art, an experience that opens the door of our inner hearts to help us journey deeper and heal. Tuning into Tea brings us fully into the present moment, into our senses, and into our bodies. Through stillness and awareness, we quiet to hear our Highest Selves and the wisdom of Mother Earth. Connecting us with the ways of the ancients, “Living Tea” has the power to cleanse, purify, ground and heal the Spirit as our Qi is balanced and with each ceremony we are born anew. This is a holistic experience balancing the physical, mental and spiritual bodies with each sit.

Kat Malone Bio:

Kat Malone is a spiritual seeker and native Austinite on a mission to awaken to her own truth and potential, passionately serving community in ways that help align us to earth and spirit. She currently works as a LPC-associate (Licensed Professional Counselor), bringing in various somatic-based and expressive-arts practices to support others in their spiritual, emotional and relational healing. She is a practicing Buddhist, lover of Astrology, follower of Shamanic and Ancient teachings, and disciple of the way of Tea and art of Tea Ceremony.

Shannon's Bio:

Shannon Healy is a bodyworker, artist, adventurer, rock climber, amongst other passions, hailing from the sunny shores of Clearwater, Florida. She was catapulted into a spiritual awakening in 2014 and has since been following a path of healing and self-discovery. She brings a sense of calmness and grounded energy into group spaces. She will help facilitate a journey of sound after the tea ceremony.

Mayan Astrology of the Day:

Spring Equinox is on March 19th, which calls for celebration, welcoming the return of life, the sun and abundance. 

As we gather on March 23rd, according to Mayan Astrology, we will be meeting on a White Wizard Day, which is a galactic portal day in the mid-point of the Yellow Seed Wavespell in t he last few days of the Blue Castle of Transformation - a final opportunity of that challenging 52-day cycle of transformation and transcendence - it is time to complete or work to overcome our challenges and shadows, preparing us for the Yellow Castle of Giving, opening ourselves to receiving the fruits of our labor, filling our cups so that we may overflow with generosity. 

White Wizard is Day 11 (of 13) of the Yellow See Wavespell, which asks us:  What do I need to let go of in order to be truly liberated?

White Wizard is the Magician, whose powers are activated by wisdom that emanates from the heart. Such wisdom is not the intellectual understanding known in Western culture; it is the wisdom that comes from an alignment of mind and heart. An open, trusting heart is a refined tool of perception. Allowing yourself to 'not know' opens the door of the mind to a deeper understanding of the universe. White Wizard asks you to fully utilize this aligned mind to participate in magic.  White Wizard invites you to step into self-empowerment. Empowerment comes from self-acceptance, integrity, and commitment to your evolution. Self-empowerment is not to be found outside oneself. Anything outside that brings you empowerment also has a divine foundation within you. If you feel a need for the approval of others, look to self-empowerment. When you feel effectively engaged, doing what gives you joy, your energy naturally expands to inlcude more of who you are, and magic flows synchronistically into your life. Claim your alignment with the highest wisdom. Call forth divine action in all that you do!

Align your own will with divine will and your Essence Self. Be transparent, innocently allowing magic to come through you rather than needing to create it. Open to heart-knowing and limitless possibilties.

White Wizard is a tool of the light, a conduit for the work of Spirit. A wise magician is spontaneous and transparent, allowing magic to come in rather than trying to control it or make it happen. A magician dances the dance of love through offering gifts of freedom to others. This is real magic. Freed from the need to use power to manipulate or control, a magician uses wisdom to manifest liberation and love.

The harmonic wisdom of White Wizard is melody, the progression of signle tones within a composition. White Wizard symbolizes the sacred journey of your individual life. As a harmonic magician, you are a novel yet universal container for the expression of the Divine. While you play the melody of your journey's spirit song, the Creator provides the harmony.

Melody is to music what story line is to story. Utilize the elements you have chosen for exploration in your life - your gifts, talents, abilities, motivations, circumstances, and the other characters in your play. Orchestrate the most interesting and growth-engendering story line from this combination of possibilities. Understand that you are the player and the played in the melody in your life.

Yellow Seed Wavespell Qualities: Seed, self-germination, creation, flowering, power of growth, seeding manifestation, fertile ground, gestation, opening, erupting possibilities, awareness.  Yellow Seed is the ordered pattern of growth. You and your life are the fertile soil, and the mystery blooms within you through the power of your intention or seed thoughts. Just as a seed contains the hologram of its completion, the process of manifestation follows a natural order. In this gestation process, your intention is quickened by Spirit. The charged seed, your true desire or vision, becomes the focus for germination.   What can you open that will support receptivity and assist the germination of your seed intentions? Envision the seed receiving the invitation to grow in the openness of your world. Viscerally feel the possibility of your heart's dream emerging. Your true desires and dreams contain an innate intelligence that can break through even the rigidity of fixed expectations. Planting a new seed, even in the hard soil of old belief systems, can bring unexpected magic and growth.  Be willing to break open the constraining shells of past patterns, the shackles of belief structures. Call forth your creative involvement with life. This involvement frees and awakens the powerful energy of the life force, shifting your perceptions and experience, catalyzing the manifestation of your dreams. Participate spontaneously in your growth, unrestricted by the illusion of old structures that once provided safety. Move forward into the light of new possibilities.  Tropism is the tendency to respond or move toward something by natural attraction. Through a code inherent within, a sprouted seed grows toward the light and a sunflower follows the Sun. In like manner, you respond to the light of your Essence Self, opening naturally to the fulfillment of your true nature. Through your own process of living and learning, you generate and plant various intentions and desires. As your natural growth pattern is catalyzed and awakened, your truth germinates in wisdom, emerging into the light in which all seeds flourish. Thus, as you plant your own truth, more truth comes to light. In this way, you create ever more fertile ground in which to explore and express all that you are.

The next 52-Day Cycle (Castle) begins on March 26th, so we are preparing for this new shift  into the Yellow Southern Castle of Giving.

YELLOW SOUTHERN CASTLE OF GIVING is the fourth castle in the Tzolkin and represents a time of abundance and generosity. It is associated with the South and the color yellow, which symbolizes the sun, warmth, and vitality. The South is the direction of the midday sun and represents a time of prosperity and abundance. Yellow represents the energy of giving and generosity, as well as the joy and happiness that comes from sharing with others. This castle is a time of giving, a time when we are encouraged to be generous with our time, energy, and resources. It is a time to focus on community and to give back to those in need. The concept of giving is significant in the Mayan culture, representing the interconnectedness of all things and the importance of contributing to the greater good. Yellow Castle is a reminder that generosity is a powerful force for positive change. This castle is a time to find joy in the act of giving, creating a positive cycle of abundance and prosperity.
